Hola chicos! ¡Buenos dias! ¡¡¡Hoy es viernes!!!! Woohoo!!!! We survived this first week of online teaching/learning, and it will get better I promise! There is NO HOMEWORK today…..but…..(there is always a but)…..I want YOU ALL to attend today’s video conference because I want to explain the difference between verb SER and ESTAR. It is extremely important that you join the meeting since students tend to get these two verbs mixed up because they both mean the same in English (TO BE). See picture below for your reference.
Since I am not sure how many people Zoom allows to join, I want to have two sessions: 2nd block: 11:30 a.m. 3rd block: 12:30 p.m. I will send the invitation through Remind. I also want to congratulate Carlton, Daniel and Andrew because they got a perfect score in yesterday’s quizizz! (see picture below) ¡Muy bien! ¡Excelente! For those who didn’t get to play, I will send the link through Remind again today. This game really helps you memorize this unit’s vocab and grammar. Hope to see your happy faces later today! Chao, Sra. Dani

AuthorI was born in Caracas, Venezuela. I have been living in the United States for 20 years. My husband and I have three boys. Our oldest son, Hector, is a senior here at Hillgrove. Our middle one, Luis, is a sophomore, and they both play for the Varsity Soccer team. Our youngest, Jose, is in 2nd grade and goes to Still Elementary School and guess what, he also plays soccer! :) Archives
