Today in class we completed this review sheet of date/calendar, and learned the question: ¿Cuándo es tu cumpleaños? (When is your birthday?). Students went around asking and telling each other when their birthday is. Next, we took notes on how to identify the gender of nouns. Students learned that if a word ends in an L-O-N-E-R-S they can be 95% sure that the word will be masculine. On the other hand, if the word ends in a D-IÓN-Z-A they can be 95% sure the word is feminine. Here are the notes from today. We also discussed definite articles (the = el / la) and indefinite articles (a/an = un / una).
