Hola chicos, ¡buenos días y feliz lunes! Hope you enjoyed your break and that you are all healthy. I'm going to host a Zoom meeting at 1:00 p.m. to answer any questions you probably have on how we are going to grade moving forward. I will send the link to join the meeting through Remind. Today we will begin learning new vocabulary for our TPRS (Total Physical Response Storytelling) Unit! Here is the TPRS Vocab List you will use for the next 2 weeks. You can print this off, or just fill it out digitally and re-save it each time we add new vocab words. Students and Parents, This notification is to inform you of the latest information released by the county regarding your child’s grade. As noted from the district communication, students have a choice to accept their grades as of March 13, 2020 as final grades for the 2019-2020 school year OR Continue to earn grades for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year to improve their grade(s). We want to clarify that if a student chooses not to participate, perform or actively engage with his/her teacher(s) and they do not take advantage of assignment opportunities, this will result in their final grade being the grade that they had on March 13th. The only way for the March 13th grade to improve is for the student to submit assignments and participate in the digital learning opportunities made available to him/her by the teacher. See below for what the Spanish 1 team of teachers has decided for moving forward (in blue): 1. We will put in formative grades (in the 15% Formative Category) for the work you have completed from these previous three weeks of digital learning. You will not receive a grade in Synergy if these assignments lower your over-all average. 2. Moving forward, you may either:
